Bauer Guitars are hand crafted from the finest
quarter sawn tone woods
using book matched Indian Rosewood sides and backs,
master grade
spruce top, and mahogany neck. The top has the
traditional scalloped
“X” bracing incorporating a radius in both the top
and back. Plastic
binding is used in the standard models, but a wide
variety of options
are available including wood bindings. The quarter
sawn mahogany
neck includes the traditional “diamond” shaped
contour at the base of
the headstock, with a rosewood overlay and white pearl “Bauer”
logo inlay. The ebony fingerboard has the “Martin”
25.34” fret scale
with a 16” radius and diamond pearl inlays for the
fret markers. The
neck is fitted with the “Hot Rod” two way
adjustable truss rod
accessible through the sound hole and two carbon
fiber rods for
additional strength. Many options are available
including a variety of
tone woods, bindings, inlays, cut-a-way feature and
electronic pickups.
